Bath day is not really one of Toby`s favourite activities but one would think by now he would be accustomed to it! He just seems to KNOW when he is going to get bathed and hides away wherever he thinks his Dad can`t see him! Yeah right! How can you miss him??? Eventually he walks or rather is half dragged to the bathroom. He reluctantly gets into the bath and there he is miserable for the next hour! Needless to say, when the actual bathing is over, there is water everywhere, the whole bathroom is under water as well as well as the dining room and kitchen floor as he has to walk through there to get to the garage. NO, it is not finished yet! Can`t these humans just give a dog a break?? A normal dog will stand on the grooming table to be blown dry, but not Toby. He prefers to lie down and be blown about 80% dry first on the towels laid out so nicely by his Dad. I mean: Why must he stand when he can lie down? Do you think he is stupid??!! ☺ His Dad allows it. So why not? After he has dozed for a couple of hours there on the floor, he has to get up and stand on the table to be blown completely dry! URGH!! Why now?? He was so enjoying that blow? ☹ Oh and don`t forget the nail trimming and ear cleaning! The teeth cleaning, well that is Ok as the toothpaste has a really yummy taste! Sometimes he jumps off the table and runs away. He tries his Dad to see if he will play with him… but no chance! But he HAS to try anyway!! Everytime! One never knows ! What a performance, he cannot wait for that garage door to be opened so he can rush inside and escape this ridiculous business and just relax and sleep for the rest of the day! Phew! At last!!
